Here are the two cards that I came up with for our hop...
I used sketch 27 for my new Hero card....
As if anyone really needs a reason, but here is mine...
I wanted to let Operation Write Home and Kris know that Trevor is back in the states, after 7 long months of being in Afghanistan, as of Thursday and will be home here for a visit on Sunday night....
I also wanted to thank a friend of mine Tammy (she knows who she is) for helping me find OWH. I have enjoyed making cards for the heroes and they sure know how much we love them. The support we give them is welcomed and appreciated.
I knew when I saw this sketch that I was going to use this big retiring ribbon. I will miss it.
And be nice I hand stamped each letter.... :-)
This my very 1st time in a blog hop... I hope everything turned out alright.
And that everyone gets inspired.
I do have blog candy.... you will have to check out the Friday night post to see what it is... but its a good one. Ohh this is how you get the blog candy, you must post a comment and I would appreciate a few new followers too...
So the other thing on everyone's mind is graduation, right??
Well I thought so too... I love this stamp set for that...
I got the idea from sketch number 114.
Yes, it was changed just a little.
The footprints are the steps we have take to get where we are and where we want to go..
Enjoy your Daring Adventure and the rest of the Hop!!
Thank you for stopping by!!
Have a Great Day Getting Crafty!!

ReplyDeleteCindy, I actually was going to make the striped emboss go the other way... more flag like, but did not like it as much
DeleteWhat beautiful cards! Both have such important messages!
ReplyDeleteLoved your cards and the sentiments. You did a great job hand-stamping each letter of HERO. I couldn't find the 'follow' button on your blog and I don't do the email subscribe. Thanks for hoppin' with OWH.
