Sorry guys just a quick post today...

Working on Masculine cards last night AND had a helper with organizing my retired stuff, I am sooo Thankful!!!

Organizing first...

When stuff retires I pull it all and then pick thru what to keep and what to pass on to others..

Here is one of my two bookshelves

This one is now has all the stamps, paper, ribbon, big shot stuff and of course some Misc...

Yes that is a lot of stamps.... but ohhh I have sold some
and given some away.

Today's card is a Masculine card either birthday or even Father's Day.

Yes, posting from the craft room again....
The Hardwood stamp is such a universal stamp.

The Thick Bakers Twine in Baked Brown Sugar.
Yummy!!

Touches of Cherry Cobbler just add a splash of color, the Banners smallest Frame for our postage mark.

Graduation

Happy Sunday!!
Today is another Graduation card.  This one has a different approach.

I know I will get some grief from a few followers because....

YES, IT HAS BUTTERFLIES!!

Have you tried mixing ribbons yet??
If not, WHY not!!

Have you every embellished your ribbon??
Why not??

The sentiments are mixed here, one retiring and one new!!
Why is a butterfly good luck if its upside down?? Someone please explain!!
To me, it is falling, I don't know.

Today and this weekend is all about the birthday cards...

A very good friend of mine celebrated her birthday yesterday.

Above is the inside of the card I gave her. Just a small sentiment and my favorite flower from the Petite Petals stamps... The flowers here are important, my friend and I love to garden, we share flowers, seeds, plants and ideas.  Her Hubby took us flower shopping on Thursday. Dreary day here in Indiana, but great day shopping for FLOWERS!!

Using a beautiful retiring stamp set, My Friend.  The inside sentiment and the "flower" background are two stamps from that set.  The "Happy Birthday" is also from a retiring set, Create a Cupcake.

The new "Hardwood" stamp is a perfect back drop for this card, just adding some texture.  Creating this on Basic Grey and using "Craft" Whisper White, the same color combo for the flowers.

Adding the extra layer on the banner adds a lot.

Curling the flower petals is done with a bone folder. Rhinestone just finish them off.

Just a couple different dimensions for this card but it does not have to be mailed. Hand delivery for this one!!

Enjoy your weekend!!
