It sure has been awhile, sorry everyone..... I have been working in the "garden".  I will post a few pictures later in the week.  Here is today's card, I got in touch with my girlie side and did this Happy Birthday card.

I have been on a Melon Mambo (and Rich Razzleberry too) kick these days. I do love the color combo too. Add a dash of So Saffron (or Daffodil Delight) and Pink Pirouette (or Regal Rose) and Peach Parfait..............WOW!!

I used mostly punch art on this card, including 5 Petal Flower, Boho Blossom and the Itty Bitty Shapes.  Of course, I used the glitter brads in different colors and the beautiful pearls too.  The happy birthday is from Teeny Tiny Wishes set.  It was stamped in Melon Mambo on Pear Pizzazz using the double punch tech and the Modern Deco Label punch.    Have a GREAT Day!!

Let me start this post by saying, I am SUPER excited!! I just ordered 'My Digital Studio' and can not wait for it to get here....... I hear that it is such a HUGE time saver and can you image tweaking things any way you want??

****Important Reminder**** tomorrow is the last day to take advantage of  'Sale-A-Bration" spending $50. and getting FREE stamps is always great!!

Now more from Mom's Box.......
Sympathy cards for today's listing.  If you don't have the Thoughts and Prayers set.  YOU MUST GET IT!! For me this one is a staple.  I use the tree and Flowers on all different cards. The sentiments are perfect.  Both of our cards are on Crumb Cake and Whisper White.  I used only Crumb Cake ink here also.

This one is just run through the Big Shot and I used the Deco Label punch to make the fancy edge here.  One the inside I stamped (second) the flowers on just one corner.

Thanks for your visit today.  I will keep you up to date on the My Digital Studio........YEAH!!!!

Yes, more cards from Mom's box. This one is a general card.  I used Regal Rose and of course, Chocolate Chip.  I Versamarked the background on the CC.  The Deco Label punch and SU Markers for the Center. This is a full size card, I just did a tri-fold so that it opens in the middle.

This one is also a general card.  Rich Razzleberry and Pretty in Pink with the center circle, Very Vanilla.  The eyelet border punch for the bottom ribbon section.  Very Vanilla 3/8 taffeta ribbon and Pretty in Pink 1/8 taffeta ribbon.  The large Scallop punch was decorated on each scallop using the Crop-A-Dile.  And yes you guessed the SU markers on the stamp.

Thanks for stopping by today!!

Here is another from "Mom's Box of Cards"  This is Welcome Baby.  Yes it is obvious... one boy...one girl.  The 'boy' version has a small craft clothes pin.  The 'girl' version has pearls.  I used Bashful Blue/Marina Mist and Regal Rose/Rose Red for the colors. My SU markers to match and added Daffodil Delight for the ducks.

For this 'Thinking of You' I used all the In Colors. The DSP is from the hostess pad, they are punched using the 1 3/8 square punch.  I matted those on Whisper White.  Ran that through the Big Shot using the Top Note die.   And the Deco Label punch for the sentiment background and for the sentiment double punched.  That is once again from Mary Fish.

Today and for the next few days I will be sharing with you the cards that I made for my Mom.  She called me and asked for a box of cards.  She wanted to share with her friends my lovely cards.  I was honored by this request.  On today's post above is her Thank You cards.  Her favorite color is green and this is what I came up with.  Garden Green, Wild Wasabi and DSP for the cardstock.  That is Taffeta ribbon in Very Vanilla along with scrap paper for the sentiment.  The 'thanks so much' is from Three little words stamp set.  I used the Deco label punch with a tech from Mary Fish .... Thanks again Mary!!

Now for the "to do list" This was one of Mom's general cards. I did have to let her know though she could not send this one in the mail.... to thick.  I used Real Red, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla for the cardstock.  The 5/8 grosgrain ribbon in Chocolate Chip and Hemp twine.  The stamp set is Eat Chocolate from the Occasions Mini.  I VersaMarked the candy bar on the front and used my SU markers for the "bundle".  The "bundle" is from the Two Tags and holds my favorite little chocolate.    Yummy!!
I hope you will enjoy these next few days!!

This is a Sale-A-Bration set. Three little words, I like the "vintage" look here.  I used Always Artichoke, Newsprint, Very Vanilla and DSW paper all coordinating.  I sponged the edges of the Newsprint and the Very Vanilla with Early Espresso.  I did the same on the inside with a Very Vanilla sheet for writing.  The I Love You is punched with the Deco Label.

Have a GREAT day!!

What you can do with a dollar frame.........

I found this picture Frame at my local craft store, for just $1. I liked the size and knew that I had the perfect picture, but what to do with the rest......hummmmm.

I used mostly Big Shot cut outs, and added the Real Red 1 1/4 striped grosgrain ribbon, a few punches of hearts and just for my embossing friends a few embossed hearts.  For the glitter girls a few of the new glimmer brads and for me.....the purple butterflies.  I had it somewhat figured out in my head, I was attempting to explain the plan to a friend and to her it did not  sound appealing........She LOVED the end results.  Look outside the box girls!! You will have fun!!

Valentines - Sense of Time

Here I sit at my new computer, Thanks to my Hubby.  This picture was taking with my Christmas present, from my Hubby, a new camera. I am listening to the wind blow and watching the snow fall, sort of.  I am very happy for my "valentine".  I made this one with him in mind.  I love that he saves all my notes and cards that I leave (make) for him.  This one was inspired by him.  The base is Soft Suede with a Crumb Cake layer.  The clock you have seen before.....Sense of Time.  The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. The punches I used were the small Heart, Modern Label and Word Window.  I also embossed the hearts.  There is still time to MAKE a special card for your "Valentine".

Valentines - Loads of Love

Here is a second Valentine.....I used the truck from Loads of Love and the small heart punch to over flow the truck bed.  The background paper is DSP, Jolly Holiday, left overs from Christmas.  The twill has "love" stamped on it from the Tiny Tags set.  I just put in on Real Red card stock.  But how cute!!

See you again next week.

This week there will be two postings.....I know not a good way to start the year, failing the second week in (YIKES!!).  I do have a condition out of my control.  My computer finally bought the farm, well died.  My poor husband has been trying to fix it best he can, but with not too much success.  I am thankful, I have a friend that has let me stop by and do ALL of my computer stuff at her house and she lives super close.  Thank you Rocky!  I will chat with you all tomorrow?? I will have a second post for you............

Christmas 2 page spread.

Here is my VERY first Christmas 2 pager....

Yes, I took if from two different cards but how cute they turned out.  DSP is the two background 12X12 from the color pack and Deck the Halls.  The Santa uses the XL scallop circle. The Christmas tree uses the buttons die for the big shot.

Happy Scrapping!!
