Here is a sneak peak of paper and ribbon that will be available April 1 as a preview for the new Catalog in June.  It is sooooo Cheery!

I used the new Framelits to create the card frame.... Scored the frame for easy folding.

Even the strip that the top is resting on is a framelit section. Added a few 1/8 ribbon strips for some added fun.

I know this cards is bright, but needed a little Bling too. The Sentiment is a perfect match for this cheery card.

Ink: Island Indigo
Stamps: Elementary Elegance
Punches: Itty Bitty Shapes, Curly Label

I was surfing my usual hang outs on the web and on the Operation Write Home Facebook page someone was needing a new challenge.  Someone posted a 3 - 3 - 3 challenge
3 different pattern papers, 3 different embellishments, 3 different ribbons.
All on the same card!

Hummm, I can do that, this is what I came up with.... Just in time for Stamp Camp.

Here are your 3 ribbons... and 1 of the embellishments.

Here are the other two embellishments, I hope you can make out the Dazzling Details on the butterfly, leaves and the center of the main flower.  Small pearls for the center of the smaller flowers.

What a great way to step out of your comfort zone!!

Weekend Special Part 2

Today is part 2 of Jen's Hair Company's New Flower Decorations for their 4th Anniversary Celebration!!

There are three mirrors side by side with Jen's in the middle.  I started on the two sides and worked my way up to Jen's....

The goal was to welcome spring.... Using almost every Stampin' Up! color available and every punch, Big Shot die and ideas I could come up with...

This one is using the Fancy Flower Punch

This one is outta the box. This is using the Butterfly Punch.

The 5-Petal Punch is used here

This one is outta the box again, the Heart Punch was used here.

The Doves above Jen's Mirror are a salute to Paul Mitchell, which is available at the Salon.

The Melon Mambo Flower used the Scallop Circle Punch and a 5-Petal for the center.

Remember using different patterned papers add interest.  But the most important thing,
Think outside of the box!!

For technical training on these different flowers please email me or contact me on Facebook, I have classes all the time.

Have a great day getting Crafty!!

Happy March, Everyone!!

Happy 1st of March, I have a little treat for you!!
Anyone else need an idea book?? I sure did!!
This is the thing, the ones that I found at the store did not fit... ME!!

This one was available at my local 'superstore" for less then $1.00.  It is the perfect size, however organization is the key, this one was lacking....

And lets not forget the personality??

How about a cover??
Some Purple and BUTTERFLIES, of Course!!

Humm, still needed something.

I know!!  The 'book mark' it holds the paper on the inside front cover and really jazzes up the front.

Have you signed up for Stamp Camp yet?? Last Call, we will be making a book mark similar to this one and 2 new folds on cards....Last chance TODAY!! But you must mention this blog post!!

Add a pocket for your misc stuff (postage stamps not included)

A few tabs to mark the important sections... it was a trick to use only the words that I could stamp.  The table was full of opened stamp cases trying to tweek the words.
