Happy March, Everyone!!

Happy 1st of March, I have a little treat for you!!
Anyone else need an idea book?? I sure did!!
This is the thing, the ones that I found at the store did not fit... ME!!

This one was available at my local 'superstore" for less then $1.00.  It is the perfect size, however organization is the key, this one was lacking....

And lets not forget the personality??

How about a cover??
Some Purple and BUTTERFLIES, of Course!!

Humm, still needed something.

I know!!  The 'book mark' it holds the paper on the inside front cover and really jazzes up the front.

Have you signed up for Stamp Camp yet?? Last Call, we will be making a book mark similar to this one and 2 new folds on cards....Last chance TODAY!! But you must mention this blog post!!

Add a pocket for your misc stuff (postage stamps not included)

A few tabs to mark the important sections... it was a trick to use only the words that I could stamp.  The table was full of opened stamp cases trying to tweek the words.

Happy Birthday Brody!!
My nephew turned two last week and I was able to go and enjoy the family party!!
Why are masculine cards so tough?? Wanting to keep it simple but fun.

My husband picked the present of course!!I knew he would love it...

He will be all set for outside once the weather gets warmer.  We balled up wrapping paper so he would have something to put in the shovel.

He loved his mom's Chocolate cake and must have told her 4 plus times.
TOOOO CUTE!!

I ran the Big circle thru the embossing folder separate and used dimensionals to add the pop.

Here is a little treat that I gave my club ladies.  I got the original idea from Mary Fish, Thanks Mary!!  She also has a video tutorial for that shows one version of this.  I just loved it!!

I have two Nieces now and my 1st thought was ohhh  can't you see a little 4 year old walking around with this?? Great little party favor.  I filled my little treats with full size chocolate bars(not pictured here) that where wrapped in DSP as you can see I made one special for each person.  Yes, I tailored each wrapper to the person I was giving it too. Just a small personal touch.

Operation Write Home Sketch #109

With today's sketch I took a few liberties.  I hope you like my variation!
What do you think about the Spritz effect??

Here I used three Fancy Flower punched out one Poppy Parade (bottom) and two Calypso Coral smooshed, added the Large and small Flowers from Boho Blossoms for the final effect.

Here is a better view, here you can see that I scored and folded the 'ribbon'  saying for the 3D effect.

Still have not checked out Operation Write Home yet?? (OWH) Great group of ladies...
