Happy St Patrick's Day!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day Weekend Everyone!!

This weekends 2 part "Feature" is going to be St Patty's Cards.

The first is the pretty one... tomorrows is the more fun one, and
a Pinterest CAS.

Using washi tape as some of my "gold" on the top, dimension was added with the die cut

and a simple knot....

Usually the insides are pretty blank because I leave room for soldiers to write to a loved one....

I donate most of my cards to Operation Write Home.

So that is today's pretty card, sorry no sneak peaks for tomorrow.... you will just have to wait and see.

The next card is for my Niece, she is the girly girl..

Pink is the perfect color to begin with.

Here is the inside, just a hint of bling.

A sweet little girl she is, a little
fanciness doily and stamped pattern.

Here is the full front of the card.
Think a little out of the box and you never know what you will come up with!!

I don't know about your families, but for ours it seems that Birthdays are clumped together.

My Youngest Nephew and Nieces' Birthdays are just a few weeks apart so my Hubby and I set out to Illinois for a visit!! Thankfully the weather cooperated and was able to bring a sleigh full of gifts.

Starting with my Nephew his card is a CASE from Pinterest.

Oval Framelits to the rescue along with an oval punch.

The dinosaur didn't want to be alone so I made two.... How CUTE is he!!

Inking the edges added some depth, and the original did not have a mouth, he seemed unhappy...

So now he is smiling!!

Using the Bitty Banner Framelits the Happy Birthday was a snap to add.

*Note, I did use my bone folder to help get the curl on the banner.

I am happy to say that my Nephew liked the card, but was more interested in the Gift that I had to hide because I could not wrap it!!

Have you ever just looked at things and knew you HAD to make just a couple changes???

Or, know that when you get a kit that you are NOT even going to look at the directions??

HAHAHA, you are not the only one....
I love LOVE the Burlap and Blooms Simply Created wreath kit in the Spring Catalog!!
I had a customer ask me to make that a stamp camp and Ohhh did we have fun... Here are a few samples of what the GIRLS came up with..

Sandy, decided to mix her colors all together!!

Rocky was not happy that I was taking pictures, even though it was her idea!!
She decided to put a few more flowers on the side...

Paula went for a different angle...

I added a few buttons and puff flowers to this side...

No I didn't sew on the buttons, but who would know otherwise!! ;-)

A few Rosettes, and Rhinestones.
(Gotta add some bling!)

I am not sure if you can tell, but Inked the edges on the inner circle on the yellow flower..

I love when the girls take an idea and run with it to make it theirs!!
Personalize it if you will.
Here is my version
I love it!!  Have a GREAT day getting crafty!
