May Stamp Camp

Flowers and Folds Stamp Camp
day 4

Here is how things started after Lunch

You know I had to use my FAVORITE punch!! The Petite Petal Punch!!
Do you see our NEW flower?? Isn't it cute??
That is part of the NEW Itty Bitty Punch pack.

Here is the Chevron Punch doubled up!! Before you punch, stamp using the Hardwood stamp.  That is what added the wood look.  Add some branches from the Bird Punch and even a wing as a leaf.

I know you are getting upset because you want to see the whole thing, this one is my favorite so a little teasing is only in my nature.

You will need dimensionals, so you can put the leaves and even the flowers under/ around the "trellis" or section of lattice.

Have you picked which one is your favorite so far??

It was just too pretty to put anything else.
The Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango are Watercolor Wonder DSP.
The Real Red and Perfect Plum are cardstock stamped, then punched out.

Today and this weekend is all about the birthday cards...

A very good friend of mine celebrated her birthday yesterday.

Above is the inside of the card I gave her. Just a small sentiment and my favorite flower from the Petite Petals stamps... The flowers here are important, my friend and I love to garden, we share flowers, seeds, plants and ideas.  Her Hubby took us flower shopping on Thursday. Dreary day here in Indiana, but great day shopping for FLOWERS!!

Using a beautiful retiring stamp set, My Friend.  The inside sentiment and the "flower" background are two stamps from that set.  The "Happy Birthday" is also from a retiring set, Create a Cupcake.

The new "Hardwood" stamp is a perfect back drop for this card, just adding some texture.  Creating this on Basic Grey and using "Craft" Whisper White, the same color combo for the flowers.

Adding the extra layer on the banner adds a lot.

Curling the flower petals is done with a bone folder. Rhinestone just finish them off.

Just a couple different dimensions for this card but it does not have to be mailed. Hand delivery for this one!!

Enjoy your weekend!!

Happy Easter!!

I would like to show you my Easter Basket...

The layered background was embossed using Scalloped Textured Impressions from the Occasions book.
and a very decorated Easter Egg...

Petite Petal Punch that add just a pop of color.

Wisteria Wonder Chevron Ribbon is a Perfect Big ribbon.

I used the the Oval Framelits and the largest is a Scallop Oval.

You can see the "hinge", how do you get that you ask... Well if you let the framelit hang over the side just enough you will get that hinge.

You know when you get something done and you think all day about what you should have done?? Well that is what I was doing Friday.  I did not like the empty inside and was pondering what to put on the inside... WELL it needed a bunny butt.

The picture is poor here (sorry!!), but wanted to show you how cute it is.. just using the small oval punch and yes, the petite petal punch for ears.

I hope you enjoyed this weekends cards!!
Happy Easter.

It's finally here.... BABY Day!!!
My newest Niece is coming today and I can not wait to meet her.

I am safe my sister will not see this so here goes..

I am sorry to say that the stamp set used here is retired...
Established Elegance.

At our Whisper Sisters swap one of the ladies suggested for us to help each other
and bring in a stamp set that we love, but not sure what to do with...

This was a second card with the same stamp set.
For some reason this stamp set spoke to me... I had all kinds of ideas.

Back to the baby,

The Artisan Embellishment Kit adds the touch of color and vintage vibe.
Adding the brass brad and pearls continues that look.

Here is your inside ... neutral with a splash of Rose Red.
The precious baby "ticket" and the safety pin continue the baby look.

I purposely made this an easel card so that is can be left open.
Here is the whole package... card and bag.

awwww, it says girl, dontcha think??

Happy Birth day baby girl!!

Good day, everyone!! Hope your Sunday is lovely!

Sunday in my house is a simple, hang out and relax kinda day.
Today's card mirrors that:

Petite Petal stamps, punch and the Bird Punch are all that is needed here.
Note: The flowers are punched from Whisper White,
sponging the two and stamping one, keeps it simple.
Adding a very small amount of sponging to the edges of the corners, VERY lightly, just to add that little something..

I could not help myself... it needed something and the Rhinestone did the trick.
Note: The extra pieces of thread... they were scraps and just add a little more
presence to the Linen Thread.

Blissfully enjoy your day today and have a Great day getting Crafty!!

It started with...

Happy Tuesday Everyone!
 Happy first of the month!!
Happy $1.00 day....

This post is all about something that spurred an idea from just $1.00

This little wooden "basket".
It was actually found for me, she knows who she is... and she was right, I love it!
So cute, right?? but what do you see??

Here is what I saw....
I was describing this idea, in its infancy, to my hubby and he says... ohhh so like an Easter basket.  So, I went with that.... Thanks sweetie!

See the new rosette die?? and of course the petite petal??
The stamped flowers are from Betsy's Blossoms.

Using the scalloped punch it looks almost like a flowered letter.

Keeping the raffia was a great place to perch a butterfly. Just an excuse, but it goes....

This birdhouse is made from the purse die and early espresso core'dinations paper... again it was the hubby who said it needed a bird inside.  The roof is made from one of the floral frames collection.  This little butterfly is a great way to "hide" a knot.

Trying to figure out what was used for the "house"??
Have you guessed?? It is 2 cut outs of the milk carton die. The roof is the pansy punch and petite petals punch.

Now what to use for grass?? humm, How about candy??
The rest of the "basket" was filled with Easter candy.

I hope you are enjoying this 1st of April.  Have a Great day getting Crafty!!

Paper Pumpkin ... Feb '14

ONLY TWO DAYS LEFT TO GET YOUR
FREE MARKERS!!

Today's post is using Feb '14 Paper Pumpkin.
The gift bags!! I LOVE them, they are better then ANY store bought bag!!

**WARNING.... WARNING** I made this one my own right from the get go.

The seam binding ribbon is not thick enough to just knot at each end so... making the ribbon a little longer and tying them together you are able to use any ribbon you want.

You can even stamp on the bags..the Flowering Flourishes worked perfectly.  Adding my favorite punch, petite petal and a candy dot you get a great flower.  The pearls added just a little more pretty.

Sneaky right??
The lace ribbon and flower are from the Artisan Embellishment Kit that is available on the Clearance Rack.
The gold baker's twine goes beautifully with the gold glimmer paper used on the back of the "welcome" circle.  The clothes pin comes with the Paper Pumpkin kit, but I could have used gold ones here too (in the occasions catalog).

This bag is special for me because I have a new niece due any minute... Remember my little butterfly girl?? She is getting a sister..

Seeing as the card was made prior to receiving this Paper Pumpkin I used the same colors and a few of the same elements to match.  SSssshhhh, don't tell Mindy!!

Okay enough teasing here is how it turned out...

Just beautiful!! Perfect for that new little girl!!

Well, I hope you are enjoying your weekend and have a Great day getting Crafty!!
